Subject: Status Update: RFP for ReLA Homeowner Assistance Program
Members of the Restore Louisiana Task Force:
We wanted to provide an update on the procurement process for the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance program manager. On Friday, the Louisiana Office of Community Development notified Innovative Emergency Management (IEM) that they were selected to receive the award from the request for proposal (RFP), and the 14-day protest period that follows selection is underway.
A complaint has been raised to the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors questioning whether IEM has the appropriate state licenses. This issue will be resolved in compliance with RFP procedures for dealing with protests and questions raised during the protest period.
