W2 EMPLOYER TASK: SBA Disaster EIDL Emergency Payroll loans COVID-19
Lessons learned: creating procedures for agencies. W2 employers only please.
The processing managers and SBA managers are looking at your emails that they can group into categories.
Every disaster starts with a flood of needs but in the sequence order we always follow urgent needs before all others. In H.R. 748 their is a section (Sec. 1110) that addresses one of these urgent needs, payroll for employees.
My experience with government agencies that have not created procedure is simple, give them the numbers quickly then follow up with an email that gently guides the reader in the direction that serves the disaster victim the best.
If you have an SBA account for this disaster then use it otherwise remove references to account numbers.

This is what I would like for every employer with verifiable W2 employees to do today (now) by email.
