SBA Disaster Federal Secured Loans Federally Secured Low Interest Loans managed by the SBA
The Small Business Administration SBA and FEMA team up and offer Federal Money in the form of a low interest rate Federally Secured Loan. SBA Manages the process while FEMA funds the money.
When you are navigating the federal disaster assistance agencies your first stop should be to the TruckAndTools.Com Disaster Resources. Every disaster agency uses the same process but not every disaster agency follows strict policy and guidance. Don't go into your disaster recovery with blind trust of your federal and state agencies that are leading the push to get you sheltered and out of the program.
Your decline letter will not include a code. Youll need the code so you can focus your appeal on the reason the SBA declined you in the first place. Call the SBA call center, ask politely for your decline code, a manager will need to process your request

For some households, the information I provide helps them get back in their homes. Others I've had a hand in helping them recovery from some of their disaster debt burden. In any case, when you use the information I provide and it's helpful and makes you more successful with your disaster rebuild or new construction then feel free to contribute what you can and when you can. It helps with the hours of unpaid research and reading.
Once you sign your SBA loan agreement for your disaster loan you also signed away any Grant money that you may have been eligible for at a later date. The key is never take a loan when you qualify for a grant but the grants come after the loans.
